A few weeks ago, my niece had come to stay with us before school. She'd gotten her hair braided into these long, beautiful braids, to which I wanted to draw. SO while she was watching TV one evening, I cornered her and made her my temporary model. To which she was awefully willing....If she could only have sat still, though, haha.

I'm not terribly happy with it, now that I look back, so I may reattempt an adjustment of colors and contrast another day.
